Ingvar Suvorin
Ingvar is an associate at Veinotte Mittal Litigation in Vancouver. His practice encompasses commercial litigation, foreclosure, and insolvency matters. He regularly represents clients in court, arbitrations, and mediations.
Ingvar’s commercial litigation practice includes business ownership and control, contractual obligations, and the recovery of money and property. He acts in shareholder disputes, oppression proceedings, and proceedings involving corporate plans of arrangement.
His foreclosure and insolvency practice concerns debt recovery, enforcement of security and competing claims to assets. He is experienced in both commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures. Ingvar’s work also includes loan and guarantee disputes, receiverships, forbearance agreements, and disputes involving security interests and creditor priorities.
Ingvar is an accomplished trial lawyer, having conducted successful criminal trials, preliminary inquiries, arraignments, and bail hearings before focusing on his commercial litigation, foreclosure, and insolvency practice.
Ingvar was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2025. He holds a B.A. from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver), an LL.B. with Honours from the University of Law (London), and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto).
